Salvation Mountain and Bombay Beach Salton Sea Styled Shoot {San Diego California Photographer}

A group of 8 of us, 4 photographers and 4 models headed out to the Salton Sea area on a toasty Spring day to hit up a few funky spots and take some photos. After a few hours in the car, and a date shake purchased at the local Medjool date stand (a bad idea on a hot day), we finally arrived at Salvation Mountain along with a bunch of hippie types and other photographers with the same idea as us. I had never been to the area before, only heard good things and seen photos. After about an hour at Salvation Mountain shooting each of the models, we headed over to the Salton Sea, to Bombay Beach to shoot our models as the sun went down. After we wrapped up the shoot, it was back in the car for the long drive back home. It was a long, but really fun day hanging out with a great bunch of ladies ! Fun times !
