Desarae and Casey could not wait to make it official, so they decided to elope just a couple months after getting engaged. Sunset Cliffs, San Diego on a warm Spring afternoon was chosed to be the spot for the ceremony and it was a gorgeous, warm Spring day ! After the ceremony, officiated by the groom's sister and attended by a small group of family and friends, I then took the newlyweds traipsing down dusty cliffs and across trails of wildflowers for their portraits. They were such troopers ! Congrats to the new Mr & Mrs ! Can't wait for the Big Wedding next year in Texas !

Molly & John's La Jolla Elopement {La Jolla San Diego Photographer}
East Coasters Molly & John love San Diego, have friends here and had both spent time here separately several years ago. So when it came time to decide where to get married, it was a no-brainer ! They were staying at the gorgeous Grand Colonial Hotel in downtown La Jolla, so we met there and took some photos with their friends and the yummy cake the hotel bakery made for them. Then it was off to the shore to get hitched ! La Jolla in August around sunset is very popular, but we managed to find a semi-private area for their ceremony. Their longtime friend officiated with just a couple of guests. A perfect intimate affair. And we couldn't have asked for better weather. After a rainy couple of days, the sun even peaked through just in time for the ceremony.
