Erlandson Family Session at Marston House Balboa Park {San Diego Family Photographer}

This sweet couple have known each other almost their entire lives. Originally from Wisconsin, they are now stationed with the Navy here in San Diego. Marston House in Balboa Park was a new location for me, but I just love their gardens, the gorgeous brick house and stunning lawn out back. It sure made for some pretty photos of this sweet family and their son who just turned 1 year old ! And what's a 1st birthday without a vintage, picnic cake smash ?!

After being at the same place at the same time over the course of a decade yet never meeting, it took a move from the midwest to California for these two lovely people to finally become neighbors, start dating and get married ! They love to travel and even got engaged on the "love lock bridge" in Paris ! Ooh la la ! It was such fun getting to meet and hang out with this sweet couple, their friend and family on such a special day ! And pretty sweet that I got to be the first to photograph an even at the brand new Casa Del Mar at the Del Mar Beach Resort on Camp Pendleton. It's such a great spot !
